Zenith Aquatic Program (ZAP) is a year-round competitive swim team servicing the Los Angeles South Bay community (Palos Verdes Peninsula, Torrance, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, Lomita, Long Beach). We offer high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities from novice to national level of USA swimming. Our goal is to help each swimmer elevate to his or her highest potential, both in and out of the water. We set ourselves apart by being more than just a swim team, we are a swim community; we provide a fun, yet productive, swimmer-centered environment for kids and adults of all ages regardless of their swimming background. Our flagship program is our swim team but we also proudly offer swim lessons, non-competitive swim conditioning and adult masters.

ZAP coaches, as members of the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) and USA Swimming, take advantage of the most comprehensive training and certification programs for coaches of any sport in the United States. In fact, Head Coach DeAnne Preyer was an ASCA Fellow in 2010. Our professional coaches are all past competitive swimmers and come from a variety of backgrounds but all share a love for coaching swimming and helping others succeed both in and out of the pool. ZAP will be starting a Summer Swim Team beginning 6/11/13 and ending on 7/28/13. Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke. Knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly is helpful. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER ONLINE UNTIL AN EVALUATION HAS OCCURED. You can email us through the website to set up an evaluation. ZAP will be offering the swim team at South End and Miraleste. The South End schedule is Mon at 6:30-7:30 pm, Tue 6:45-7:45 pm and Thur 6:45-7:45 pm. Miraleste will offer swim team practice at three different times: Mon/Tue/Thur 9:30-10:30 am, Mon/Tue/Thur 1-2 pm and Mon/Tue/Thur 6-7 pm.
